The Tenebrous Spiral Staircase of the -
by Chitti Kasemkitvatana
4 September - 6 November, 2021
Wednesday - Sunday, 12h00 - 18h00
Gallery VER
<<< The exhibition is re-opened from Saturday, September 4th, 2021 onward. Visitors who wish to visit are not required to make reservation. The number of visitors are limited to 10 persons per round. All visitors are required to wear face masks. >>>
Exploring notion of space in the passage of time, Chitti Kasemkitvatana pieces together fragments of historical moments in the courses of modernity in Thai and European contexts in his latest exhibition. As viewer moves from white cube to green-screen room, the interconnectedness of current events and the wider tapestry of history are unveiled, forming a spiral staircase that winds round and round through echoes and repetition, circling an empty core.
